A hist??ria ?? cativante, a leitura ?? f??cil e acess??vel e o final a mim partiu-me o cora????o!
In less than a day and a half I finished reading the book. That’s right! When I start reading I can’t stop, specially when the curiosity to know what happens next eats you up inside.
What do I have to say about it?
The story is captivating, the reading is easy and the ending broke my heart!
For those who still haven’t read about all this phenomenon the action takes place in Panem, a country located where now are the United States of America. What happened? The appocalipse, the World ended and only Panem remained.
Not going to lie, I thought that the way the author described the action in the arena would be more violent and morbid even if you can picture every single thing as you read (it’s not very pleasent). I think that in that matter the movie will help a lot.
I have to say I developed a little crush for Peeta. He’s so adorable and helpfull and romantic and sweet and he does everything for Katniss even though she doesn’t know what she wants – that’s one of the reasons the ending broke my heart. Dispite all this, Katniss (I still don’t know what I feel about her, let me read the second book to decide) is a very brave girl without a doubt, kick on her feet and with amazing survival instincts.
I cried my eyes of when Rue (the youngest of the bunch) a 12 year-old girl was brutally murdered with a spear. I thought that was Katniss did for her – singing until she passed, dressing her with wild flowers and giving her an ending she deserved – was one of the most beautifil things ever. I totally recomend this book.
